LIFE....IT'S A OCEAN AND YOU'RE AN OYSTER

A pearl is made when a tiny grain of sand or piece of dirt gets inside the shell of an oyster. That creature’s way of dealing with an irritation is to coat it over, over and over, until it becomes a smooth thing of deep beauty. Much like the oyster, I too must manage life’s irritants, those things that get into my shell. And, like the oyster, I have to work at dealing with those irritants, I must pray, I must praise the Lord in the midst of the storm and above all I must still act God-like. A geniune pearl is a product of suffering a grain of sand that becomes a thing of beauty. The work is done gradually and slowly, just as with the Lord, He has worked on me gradually over the years. I am still a work in progress but with each trial and tribulation just like a pearl I can see the change in myself. Like people, no 2 pearls are exactly alike. None are perfectly formed, but each is a thing of beauty on its own..With so many changes in life, there are so many chances to change. You can choose to see more sand to deal with, or you can see a chance to make a pearl...
